With the purpose of caring for the material and spiritual life of union members, officials, and employees; ensuring that all union members, officials, and employees celebrate the nation’s traditional Tet joyfully, prosperously, and happily, activities help union members, officials, and employees realize the roles, responsibilities and contributions of the Trade Union; trust the Trade Union. In addition these activities create incentives and motivation for union members, officials and employees to work more productively and efficiently.
Implementing Decision No. 06/QD-QTT dated on January 8, 2024 of Charity Fund of Ministry of Transport’s Trade Union on supporting employees in difficult circumstances and based on Plan No. 39/KH-CĐCHHVN dated on November 28, 2023 of Trade Union of Vietnam Maritime Administration on organizing activities to care for union members and employees on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, Plan No. 53/KH-CDHHI dated on January 17, 2024 on taking care of the lives of officials and employees, and ensuring traffic safety, occupational safety and fire and explosion prevention during the Lunar New Year 2024.

On February 2, 2024, the Trade Union Executive Committee of Maritime College No.1 organized a meeting to give support to union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.
Attending the meeting were Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Mr. Do Hong Hai - Vice Rector, comrades in the Trade Union Executive Committee, Division Trade Union and union members in difficult circumstances.

At the meeting, Mr. Luu Viet Hung - Party Committee Secretary, Rector said that 2023 is the time that the regional and global economy has not yet overcome a period of difficulty with high uncertainty and unpredictable developments; the school’s enrollment activities have improved but they have not yet reached at the licensed capacity. However, with the responsibilities and efforts, union members have successfully completed the assigned tasks, contributing to MC1’s achievements. In 2024, people forecast that the global economy will be sluggish and Vietnam’s economic growth will slow down which will affect school’s operations and the lives of employees. Therefore, we recommend that officials, and employees in general and union members in difficult circumstances in particular will be proactive, and strive to improve in life, overcome difficulties, and adapt to new challenges and do well the assigned tasks.
