On August 9, 2022, Maritime College No. I and the Global Employment Support Agency under the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on training cooperation and employment support with the aim of linking training and job support for students after graduation; provide young human resources with professional skills and foreign language proficiency suitable to the needs of employers, to work long-term in Korea.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Global Employment Support Agency (GESC) was Mr. Kim Dong Sung - Director of GESC and Mrs. Pham Thi Bich Dao, the Head of Training Department of GESC; The preventatives of Maritime College No. I were Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the school, Mr. Luong Quang Trung - Vice Rector and the heads of the units, the International Cooperation & Science and Technology Department and Training Quality Assurance Department.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Rector wished that the cooperation with GESC would open up new opportunities in the school's enrollment activities and job opportunities for students after graduation. Hopefully, the MoU signed between the School and GESC will be implemented and the first course will be opened by the end of 2022 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea.
Mr. Kim Dong Sung - Director of GESC also said at the ceremony that the cooperation agreement between GESC and Maritime College No. I today is the basis for GESC to build specific cooperation programs on enrollment, training and job support for school students; GESC will connect the needs of employers in Korea with the school so that the school can do well in enrollment, training and job placement.
