The semi-final round of the competition "Student’s startup ideas for vocational education and training students" in 2021 was held by The Directorate of Vocational Education and Training - Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Population Fund United Nations (UNFPA) from September 28th 2021 to October 2nd 2021.
Startup Kite is an annual activity funded by the Japanese Government to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship. This is also a useful playground, stimulating creativity, dynamic thinking, inspiring business inspiration and providing students with the knowledge and skills to start a business.
The evaluation criteria of Startup Kite this year include 5 groups: innovation, creativity; feasibility and competition; professionalism, the application of science, technology and engineering, especially in the context of Covid 19; Format of presentation, forms of presentation and criticism; Socio-economic efficiency and practical application.
On September 29th 2021, at the online connection of Maritime College No. I, 03 projects of the MC1 students competed with 202 projects of other schools in the country.
With elaborate and thoughtful preparation in terms of content, ideas, presentation style and the quality of the project, three ideas of the MC1 students were presented in turn to the judges who were experts, scientists, economists and especially with the participation of experts in entrepreneurship.
With calmness, confidence when presenting ideas and answering questions fluently with deep expertise, all three ideas of the MC1 students were presented highly appreciated by the judges for their feasibility, ability to develop the project in the future.
