On the occasion of the 39th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2021), on the morning of November 14th, at the Government headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with representatives of typical outstanding teachers and educational administrators.
This is an honor, an encouragement for the teaching staff and educational administrators in all regions of the country continue striving, constantly learning, improving knowledge and advancing their professional qualifications, innovating and creating to perform better the task of education and training, especially in the context that the COVID-19 epidemic is seriously affecting the activities of schools and vocational education institutions.
Maritime College Number One (MC1) is honored and proud to have an outstanding teacher, Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector is one of 10 typical managers and teachers representing nationwide vocational education and training institutions met with the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and Government, the Prime Minister sent his best wishes to teachers and educational administrators in all over the country, foreign teachers teaching in Vietnam. "Wishing the teachers good health and success to implement Uncle Ho's saying: For the sake of 10 years of planting trees - For the benefit of a hundred years of educating people".

On November 13th, 2021, the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training held a meeting with the typical meritorious teachers and educational administrators of vocational education and training institutions on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20th). Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector reported on the school's results and achievements in recent years, which attracted attention and created favorable conditions of leaders, teachers and school administrators have constantly grown; the quality has been increasingly improved. Most of the administrators, teachers, and employees have strong political thought, responsibility, enthusiasm, dedication to the profession and always uphold the ethics and style of teachers. The teaching staff with high responsibility and enthusiasm is always active, proactive in self-study and self-improvement advance their professional qualifications, constantly innovate and create in teaching activities, and contribute important parts in training human resources for the country.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Truong Anh Dung- Director General sent greetings to teachers on the 39th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day as well as expressed his wish that teachers continue to make more contributions to the vocational education.
