Maritime College No.1 welcomed the representatives of Australian Trade And Investment Commission (Austrade) to visit and work at the school. (October 5th, 2023) (06/10/2023)


On the afternoon of October 5th, 2023, Maritime College No.1 was honored to welcome Mr. Chris Morley - Trade and Investment Commissioner and Ms. Le Thi Thu Hien - Business Development Manager, Australian Trade And Investment Commission visited and worked at the School.

Welcoming the delegation were Ms. Vu Thi Hai Van - Chairwoman of the School Council, Mr. Do Hong Hai - Vice Rector and representatives of International Cooperation & Science Technology Department and Faculty of Economics.

At the reception, Ms. Vu Thi Hai Van - Chairwoman of the School Council sent a warm welcome to the representatives of Austrade and introduced MC1’s history, development, organizational structure, training scale, and cooperation with businesses and partner schools especially results of the Aus4skill Program.

On behalf of Austrade, Mr. Chris Morley - Trade and Investment Commissioner expressed his impression of MC1’s history and development, more importantly, its position and role in training high-quality human resources to serve the development strategy of Vietnam’s marine economy in general, as well as to serve the Logistics industry in particular. He also shared Austrade’s activities and committed to becoming a bridge between MC1 and Australia partners in vocational training.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Vu Thi Hai Van thanked the representatives of Austrade for spending time visiting the school and hoped to promote cooperation opportunities in the near future.
