Pursuant to the cooperation agreement dated on April 13th, 2022 between Daikin Air Conditioning Joint Stock Company and Maritime College No.1 on the project of training to improve the skills of technicians in the air-conditioning and ventilation industry.
Implement plan No. 07/KH-CDHHI dated on January 4th, 2024 of Rector of Maritime College No.1 on coordinating with Daikin Vietnam and Hai Phong Electronics & Refrigeration Association to organize a Refrigeration Safety training course and Electronics and Refrigeration Competition.

On January 10th, 2024 at Maritime College No.1, Daikin Vietnam and Hai Phong Electronic Refrigeration Association solemnly organized a Refrigeration Safety training course and Hai Phong ELECTRONIC AND Refrigeration Competition. Participating in the training course were Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung - Director of Daikin Vietnam, Hai Phong branch; Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong - Chairman of Hai Phong Electronics & Refrigeration Association; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh - Lecturer of School of Heat Engineering and Refrigeration, Hanoi University of Science and Technology; and members of Hai Phong Electronics & Refrigeration Association. Representatives of Maritime College No.1 were Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung - Manager of Personnel-Administration Department; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan - Head of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Faculty, along with lecturers and students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Faculty.

There were nearly 150 people including members of Hai Phong Electronics & Refrigeration Association and students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Faculty participating in the training session. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh shared knowledge related to labor safety issues in the Refrigeration industry and Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung introduced vocational training courses in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering which brought a lot of useful knowledge and excitement to participants.

In the afternoon, more than 150 members of Hai Phong Electronics & Refrigeration divided into 19 teams participated in 1st Hai Phong Electronics and Refrigeration Skill Competition. 3 students of class 50cml1, Maritime College No.1 participated in the competition and achieved high results.
