Implement Official Dispatch No. 29/CĐCHHVN dated on October 23th, 2023 of Trade Union of Vietnam Maritime Administration on responding to the peak month "For the poor in 2023";
Implement Official Dispatch No. 35/CĐCHHVN dated on November 6th, 2023 of Trade Union of the Vietnam Maritime Administration on propagandizing the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term;
Sincerely welcoming the 13th Trade Union Congress (2023-2028) and implementing the work plan in 2023, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Maritime College No.1 organized a study and volunteer program "Warm winter - Giving gifts to children" in Ha Giang in December 2023.
Participating in the volunteer program were MC1’s leaders; the representative of the Trade Union executive committee, Women's Affairs Committee; leaders of MC1’s units made the journey to Ha Giang from the first days of December 2023.
In Ha Giang, the representatives studied the noble moral tradition "When drinking water, remember its source", honored war heroes and martyrs who made sacrifices for the national liberation and reunification at Vi Xuyen Martyrs Cemetery, Ha Giang and learned about history, aroused national will and pride at Lung Cu Flagpole – Ha Giang – a sacred mark at the headland of the fatherland.
In particular, responding to the peak month of action for the poor, the representatives sent loving gifts (65 coats, 45 shirts, 45 lucky money envelopes, food, 45 sets of second hand clothes donated from MC1 and financial support) to the People’s Committee of Pai Lung commune, teachers and 45 students at the farthest school among the 8 schools in Pai Lung commune. The total value is nearly 50 million VND.

The MC1’s representatives would like to send not only gifts but also the love and sharing spirit to the people, teachers and children here. We hope teachers and students feel full of warmth and love; and they always stand firm in their journey to knowledge and happiness.

At the end of the charity trip, MC1’s Trade Union hopes to continue to organize such meaningful volunteer programs for unfortunate people.
