On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, responding to Uncle Ho's teachings, officers, lecturers, workers, students of Maritime College No. 1 and business units in the area actively supported and participated in tree planting activities really bring great benefits to the country and the School. Planting trees has made an important contribution to regulating the climate, improving the ecological environment, beautifying the natural landscape, contributing to the country's socio-economic development, improving material and spirit life for officials, workers, students and surrounding people.
Towards the model of a high-quality College, a Green and Happy School, the Board of Rectors, the School Executive Committee, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Executive Committee agreed to sign and promulgate Joint Plan No. 173/KHLT-CDHHI-CĐCDHHI-DTN on December 26th /02/2024 about organizing the Tree Planting Festival of Spring 2024 at Campus 2 , Dong Hoa Ward, Kien An District, Hai Phong City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Luu Viet Hung - Secretary, Rector of the school was moved and proud of the movement to support the trees of businesses, officials, employees and especially students all over the school, the number of trees planted has greatly exceeded the original plan with 100/55 Cassia fistula, 200/170 Red Trumpet trees, 5,500 pine trees and 5 Mango trees.
On behalf of the school leadership, he acknowledged and praised the spirit of all groups, individuals, and classes of students throughout the school. He hopes that through the tree planting festival of spring 2024, it will create joy and excitement to maintain for next year's tree planting festival; The school collective will promote and beautify the precious traditions of Maritime College No. 1; promote the support of businesses; It is also an opportunity to strengthen solidarity among MC1 members; Expressing the feelings and sense of responsibility of each officer, employee and student with the development of the school, towards a Green - Clean - Beautiful MC1 every day; worthy of being the 2nd Happy House.
