I. INTRODUCTION

Roles and Responsibility

1. Roles

Advise, assist the Rector in the management and implementation of the  educational training process; develop education occupations and update curriculum; conduct research, write lesson plans; train teachers and manage students.

2. Responsibilities

a) Manage officers, staff, teachers and students of the faculty assigned by the rector:

- Manage, assign officers, staff and teachers to teach and participate in training activities and other activities of the college;

- Propose teachers of the faculty to perform the duties of class teachers; coordinate with relevant faculties to supervise class teachers’ work;

- Evaluate officers, staff and teachers of the faculty and participate in the evaluation of school officers according to school’s principles including:

+ Examining and evaluating the performance of teachers of the faculty;

+ Attending class, evaluating the teaching quality of teachers;

+ Proposing to reward and discipline officers, staff and teachers of the faculty;

+ Participating in the evaluation of the management board according to school regulations;

- Plan and organize the implementation of political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education for staff, teachers and students;

- Manage students of Faculty of Economics;

- Contact companies for students’ internships; instruct and manage students during the internship.

b) Implement teaching and learning plans and other extracurricular activities according to the school's annual plan, including:

- Plan and implement education programs:

+ Develop the teachers’ training plan;

+ Supervise and check the implementation of the teaching plan;

+ Organize academic activities.

- Develop and implement testing, examination and assessment methods to assess students' learning outcomes, ensuring the output standards of students as committed, meeting the needs of the labor market including:

+ Compile exam questions, tests and answer keys;

+ Organize examination, assess students' outcomes according to the school plan;

+ Organize re-study and re-examination;

+ Organize, assess students' internship results.

c) Develop and manage curriculum

-  Develop curriculum of each occupation according to training levels under the management of the faculty or assigned by the Rector;

- Compile detailed outlines of related subjects, modules, and credits to ensure consistency and avoid overlap between subjects, modules, and credits of the curriculum or programs or training levels;

- Organize the development of curriculum, develop projects, prepare teaching materials according to the development orientation of the school;

- Update, edit  curriculum, teaching materials at college level, intermediate level and elementary level and regular curriculum;

- Innovate teaching and learning methods to improve training quality.

d) Plan and organize the implementation of science and technology activities; cooperate with organizations related to training occupations and collaborate with enterprises during the training process:

- Plan and implement scientific research projects, transferring technology, making learning models for teaching and training, linking training with scientific research, business and social life;

- Carry out experimental activities, scientific research, applying techniques and technologies to the training process;

- Cooperate with science and technology, business organizations related to training occupations and cooperate with enterprises in the training process.

e) Make plan for teachers development; plan for training to improve professional qualifications, academic skills for teachers of the faculty:

- Develop training plans for officers, staff, and teachers to improve their professional qualifications, foreign languages, information technology; organize field trips for officers, staff, teachers to visit and study at companies.

- Instruct  and evaluate trainee teachers.

f) Manage and use facilities and equipment effectively as prescribed:

- Effectively manage and use training facilities and equipment of the faculty;

- Make annual maintenance and repair plans for facilities and  equipment;

- Periodically inspect the operation and maintenance of facilities and  equipment;

- Propose and make plans for liquidation and addition of facilities and  equipment for teaching and learning.

g) Archival work

- Report training activities, manage student's outcomes according to the regulations;

- Cooperate with faculties to guide teachers in the use and implementation of forms and notebooks; instruct rules and regulations on teaching;

- Perform archival work, statistics, preservation and storage of files, documents and records according to the regulations.

h) Comply with the reporting regime as prescribed.

i) Perform other duties assigned by the Rector.
